The Town of Whitby is currently completing some tennis reconstruction projects at Peel Park, Palmerston Park and Folkstone Park. The work includes (depending on the location) new tennis net posts and nets, chain link fence repairs, drainage works and surface repairs including new coloured coating and line painting.

On Monday, March 29, 2021, the Town of Whitby will hold a public meeting about transportation-related changes to Whitby’s Official Plan.
The proposed Amendment will update certain transportation policies and “Schedule D” - Transportation map in the Town’s Official Plan, to conform to the Durham Region Official Plan.
Ahead of the public meeting, a copy of the public meeting report outlining the details of the proposed Amendment will be available for review...

Today, the Durham Region Public Health Unit announced that a new COVID-19 vaccination clinic will begin operating on Monday, March 15, at the McKinney Centre in Whitby.
